As time passed I noticed that Becky had probably had too much to drink. Her arm was no longer on the deck but was now draped over Wes's shoulder. I saw Wes was slowly caressing her leg as we talked.
I wasn't sure how long before Becky would go to sleep but I was dying to taste Casey's soft lips again so I was hoping it would be sooner rather than later.
Becky got up suddenly, probably too fast in her condition, and said, "It's time for this gal to go to sleep." As she stood she lost her balance but fortunately fell back onto Wes's lap, his arms wrapping her up.
